Sanofi Genzyme requested a proposal from Czarnowski to redesign their exhibit kit for medical trade shows and conventions. They requested a design that would give each product its own designated space while also still being recognized as a Sanofi Genzyme product.
As the graphic designer for the proposal, my biggest challenge was to create a visual language that followed Sanofi’s brand guidelines yet also worked with their over 20 different product logos. I created a plug-and-play language that primarily focused on color and iconography.
As Sanofi is the overarching brand, the colors used through all exterior graphics are white & Sanofi blue. These graphics are simple and minimal with a subtle use of the pattern that corresponds with that shows area of focus. For example, for an Oncology medical trade show - the graphics should contain the oncology pattern. Within the space, each product is represented by its primary brand color with support from lifestyle imagery and the corresponding pattern that represents that product’s area of focus. For example, as you can see in the renderings above for Thyrogen, the oncology graphic pattern is used along with Thyrogen’s purple brand color and Thyrogen’s lifestyle photography.
